Hi Guys
Can you have a look at my picture and see what I am doing incorrectly? The white one is fine but the yellow and green are odd. Any suggestions from the Mashpee crew? Not a cage for chickens but a Grade 5 classroom. I am not sure how the students manage in the torrential rain that Laos is prone to?
Can you identify all the food options in the morning market in Luang Prabang today. Some of them are alive and others are not. If you guess then I can tell you what I know? Mashpee students which of these options would you eat?
I was on the Mekong and it was calmer today so I watched several fishermen. All those I watched used nets either throwing them from the boat or using plastic bottles as floats and laying them out. I did ask Sendoa who is a local Laotian he said they do fish with 'poles' which I presume he meant rods. I was also talking to an agriculturalist staying at the guest house and he said they were growing fish in fish farms in some areas and changing the net size as the fish grew.
This is one of the most beautiful pictures of LPB taken in 2015 by John Mansfield from the top of Mount Phousey.
More village scenes from Laos, whilst the towns are more modern the villages are still lacking running water to the houses and many have no power.
Questions about fish and fishing. I will go in search of fish tomorrow to answer the awesome questions by the Mashpee students
